Hand Taps for Cast Iron - RH, Ground Thread, High Speed Steel - Made in USA
Taps for cast iron have geometry specifically designed for cast iron or irons producing small or powdery chips. They will also work well in Bakelite, cast brass and other brasses which produce similar chips. They can be used by hand or under power, in through or blind holes. The chips are retained in the flutes during use. They are provided with a Nitride and Oxide surface treatment to retard wear and prolong tool life. They are available in two chamfers: Plug and Bottom.
