Bridge Reamers are especially designed for severe service and are particularly adapted for use in structural iron and steel, bridge erection and ship construction, where extreme precision is not required. The cutting end of the flutes is tapered to permit the reamer to enter overlapping holes found in structural work. The approximate length of the tapered section is 40% of the total flute length.
